Look no further - ENROLE onto our 2023 Beginners Beekeeping Theory Course: Start Date 28th February 2023

We are Barkston Ash Beekeepers Association, a branch of the Yorkshire Beekeepers Association. The purpose of the Association is to support our members in their Beekeeping and to promote Beekeeping to the wider community.

We run Courses for both NEW & existing members, both Theory and Practical and through our meetings we ensure our members are aware of the latest developments in Beekeeping.

Our Beginners Beekeeping Theory Course is a great 1st step to becoming a Beekeeper or if you just simply wish to learn a little more about this incredible insect - the Honeybee.

The Beginners Beekeeping Theory Course start date is 28th February 2023 and runs every Tuesday for 6 consecutive weeks, together with additional evenings of Guest Speaker’s and or Demonstrations.

Each session will be held at Church Fenton Village Hall starting at 7.30pm & lasting a duration of 2 hours. Refreshments are provided as will the opportunity to meet and chat with our Beekeepers.

Our Practical Training Sessions are held at our established permanent Association Apiary, used for On-going Training/Development, Teaching, and Demonstrations. These Sessions are held on Saturdays, during the summer months.
